Just when it seemed as if the Atlanta Falcons were ready to earn themselves and NFC Championship and a Super Bowl bid to go along with it, 2013 happened. The injury bug bit the team, heavily, and they finished the season 4-12 after three straight double-digit win seasons. They finished the year near the bottom of the league in points scored, points allowed and yards allowed.

But in 2014, head coach Mike Smith is hoping to have everyone healthy so they can get back on the right track and that all starts with the team’s workouts coming up this spring and summer.

Here’s a look at the offseason workout schedule coming up for the Falcons.

OTA offseason workouts: May 27-29, June 2-4, June 10-13
Mandatory minicamp: June 17-19

In the NFL Draft this weekend, the Falcons went out in the first round and got some much needed protection for QB Matt Ryan by selecting Texas A&M offensive tackle Jake Matthews with their top 10 pick. Not to mention they’re expected to have both Roddy White and Julio Jones back to full health, so that offensive statistic of points scored should be higher.
