When you look at the scouting report for Georgia incoming freshman running back Sony Michel you will see he was one of the best power backs in the nation who could break tackles, explode through the line and find lanes with his exceptional vision. What you don’t see listed is Michel’s musical abilities which are on display in a “UGA Anthem” rap.

Michel was a five-star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, the No. 19 player overall, No. 3 running back and the No. 3 recruit in the state of Florida out of American Heritage high school.

He also dabbles as a rapper under the name 2STACKZ. With Michel ready to arrive in Athens to begin his career with the Bulldogs and fight for playing time in a crowded backfield, the 5-11, 205-pound back released this rap you can listen to below.

Michael was joined by fellow five-star back Nick Chubb as the Bulldogs reload at the running back position as they did three years ago when they landed Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall in the same class.

With Gurley expected to declare for the 2015 NFL Draft and Marshall a possibility if he can fully recover from the torn ACL he suffered in the game against Tennessee last season, Michel and Chubb could form one of the top running back duos in the SEC, if not the entire nation.

And if the whole football thing doesn’t work out, which it’s unlikely that it won’t after more than 5,000 yards from scrimmage and 65 touchdowns in high school, Michel could have a career in music to fall back on when he graduates from Georgia.
