Incoming Oklahoma State freshman running back Devon Thomas is in “career-on-hold” mode right now after reportedly being arrested for armed robbery and shooting with intent to kill.

The Tulsa World reports that Thomas was busted in his home town of Broken Arrow, OK after the alleged victim told police that Thomas and other suspects had stolen his marijuana, shoes and clothing and told him to run because they were going to “bust a cap.”
Oh my God, not the shoes! How can he run away from your busting a cap if he doesn’t have his shoes?
Kelly Hines of the Tulsa World tweeted early Friday morning that Thomas has not yet been charged and is currently being held on $125,000 bond. Hines also reports that Thomas was arrested in Broken Arrow in March on a traffic warrant.
A three-star running back out of Broken Arrow, Thomas was originally set to go to Oklahoma but switched his committment to Oklahoma State ahead of the 2014 spring semester. It seems Thomas’ committment to a life of crime was greater than his committment to college football.
I should think that a statement announcing Thomas’ release from Oklahoma State will be coming along in short order.
