The Michigan Wolverines and head coach Brady Hoke know that they have someone special coming in this season in the form of five-star CB recruit Jabrill Peppers. One of the attributes that made Peppers one of the most sought after recruits in the 2014 cycle was his speed, which he put on full display this past weekend at his state track meet in New Jersey.

Watch in the video below as Peppers makes winning the 100m dash event look about as easy as he possibly could, with an eye-popping finishing time of 10.52 seconds.

It’s highly unlikely that anyone involved with the Michigan football program had any doubts about this young man’s speed, but if anyone for whatever reason did, then that video should ease their minds a little bit.

Peppers is expected to arrive on the Michigan campus this season and make an early impact on the Wolverines’ team as they continue to fight to get back to the top of the Big Ten.

The New Jersey native, considered the top overall athlete in the 2014 class by 247 Sports, committed to Michigan back in early 2013, a commitment that some thought he wouldn’t keep given the fact that the likes of Alabama, Auburn and a slew of top-tier programs around the country continued to court him.

In February of this year, though, Peppers kept his promise and signed his letter of intent to play for Hoke and the Wolverines, bringing that speed along with him to Ann Arbor.
