Colts LB D’Qwell Jackson on Andrew Luck: I want to hug him every time I see him
By Jack Crosby
Linebacker D’Qwell Jackson signed with the Indianapolis Colts this offseason after spending the past eight seasons with the Cleveland Browns where he has been one of the most productive at his position in the league.

Despite his personal success on the field, though, the team never exactly flourished during his time that, and that of course is due to the shaky quarterback situation the organization has had to endure for the better part of the last decade. No matter how many tackles, sacks pass defended Jackson notched, the team was going nowhere without an effective signal-caller.
That’s why it’s a relief that not only is he with a team that’s a proven playoff contender, but he’s now also playing with one of the best young quarterbacks in the league in Andrew Luck.
Jackson realizes that too, as he recently told SiriusXM NFL Radio that he just wants to embrace Luck every time he sees him around camp, that’s how happy he is to be playing with a solid quarterback.
During the free agency period recently, Jackson made it known at times that he wanted to play with a contender, and that’s exactly what he’ll be doing beginning this season, with a quarterback that he wants to treat as his own personal teddy bear, apparently.
But given the circumstances he did deal with in Cleveland, can you blame him?
