It’s time once again to be reminded that there is some good in this world, and we can thank members of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team for that this time around.

More from College Football

In a story courtesy of the Ohio State blog, Eleven Warriors, seven Buckeyes football players got together back in May and collaborated to make an inspirational video to send to a 4-year-old cancer patient by the name of Joshua Chambers in Orlando, Florida, who just happens to be a huge Ohio State fan.

This awesome idea was started by Joshua Perry, who texted a number of his teammates to get the ball rolling on this and create something memorable for this young man to hold on to as he struggles with Leukemia.

Joshua’s father, Jeremy, explained that he would get each individual video from Perry and forward them to his son’s iPad.

“I would forward them from my phone to Joshua’s iPad and he’d get a message and it would pop and he’d say, ‘It’s another Buckeye!’” Jeremy said. “The way we did it, by sending them over to his iPad one at a time, he was like ‘Oh another one and another one!’”

Perry had learned about the young man from his mother who was told about him by a colleague at work. That’s when the wheels started spinning in his head and this awesome idea came to fruition.

Here is the video in its entirety.
