When you become the second freshman in the history of college football to win the Heisman Trophy, you become a hot commodity among the fans, just like Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston has become; and it apparently doesn’t matter which team the person is a fan of, they want a piece of history.

Already once before, back when the college baseball season began, Winston signed a Florida Gators fan’s hat, FSU’s most bitter rival. Well, during the Charlie Ward Camp this weekend, there was another Florida fan that wanted Winston’s signature, and once again the reigning Heisman winner was nice enough to oblige the Gators fan.
With how cutthroat college football fans have become in today’s modern age, you really have to admire the guts that it takes for these folks to walk up to the most polarizing figure on their rival’s team and ask for their John Hancock.
However, today’s modern age is also run by wealth, and there’s no doubt that Winston’s signature could be worth a pretty penny someday. Heck, it’s probably worth an eye-popping amount right now.
So, I guess it comes down to figuring out your priorities. Do you want to be loyal to your team, or do you want to be able to grab yourself a couple grand some day by selling a t-shirt?
