When the Miami Heat’s big three came together in 2010, the plan was to win several championships.

More from LeBron James

Although they were defeated by the San Antonio Spurs in five games in the 2014 NBA Finals, the Heat have had an incredible run. In all four years, they have won the Eastern Conference Championship and reached the NBA Finals, losing to the Dallas Mavericks in 2011 and defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2012 and the Spurs in 2013.

However, after the loss to the Spurs, there have been a lot of questions about LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade’s future with the team because all three players can opt out of their contracts and become unrestricted free agents. Obviously, the headliner is James.

According to Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio, James is more comfortable than he was four years ago when he became a free agent and will make the happiness of his family be the deciding factor in his final decision.

Once James returns from vacation, he plans to meet with Bosh and Wade to discuss the future of the Heat.

James averaged 27.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 56.7% from the field, 37.9% from three and 75.0% from the charity stripe this season.
