The game of quarterback musical chairs seems to be alive and well with the 2015 recruiting class, especially after some recent decision-making by four-star quarterback Deondre Francois that could be an indication that five-star quarterback Torrance Gibson is a lock to head to the Tennessee Volunteers.

Francois, the four-star product out of the IMG Academy in Florida, recently spent some time with Gus Malzahn and the Auburn Tigers. Not long after that visit, he cancelled two trips to visit teams that were on his list, one of which was Tennessee. The other, for those that are interested, was with Ohio State, with whom he was supposed to visit with on Tuesday morning.

Once everyone started to put the pieces together, it’s now considered that it’s all but a lock that Gibson lands with Butch Jones and the Vols.

Beginning the day on Tuesday, according to the 247 Sports experts, the Crystal Ball prediction had Gibson as a 50% lock to Auburn, and only 25% to Tennessee. But, if the Auburn coaching staff fell in love with Francois as much as he apparently did with them, then that leaves Tennessee open to make a major push to get the top-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the class.

Despite the predictions, there have been people that considered Gibson a lock to Tennessee to begin with. Again, if Francois heads to the Plains, then Rocky Top could be getting yet another top prospect.
