Things got a little testy in Ravens practice the other day between temperamental wide receiver Steve Smith and veteran Baltimore corner Lardarius Webb. Words were exchanged. Shoving happened. Things got testy in the way things tend to get testy when Steve Smith is around.

More from Baltimore Ravens

The next day, Smith felt bad enough about the whole thing to try to make amends. Smith presented Webb with a bag of Dunkin Donuts bearing the inscription, “Peace offering from 89.”

Aw. Donuts make everything better.

So it’s cool now between Steve Smith and Lardarius Webb? There won’t be anymore shouting and shoving and general unpleasantness? Steve feels like he’s sufficiently demonstrated his Alpha Dog status to the other Ravens? Now donuts have been bestowed and all is well?

Okay then, Steve Smith. I’m glad it’s all good between you and Webb. I’m glad you took the step of posting a picture of the peace offering on Twitter. You knew we were worried. You wanted us to be able to move on with our lives.

So, we’re moving on. Without donuts.

Crap, where are my donuts Steve Smith?
