Miami Heat's website replaces 'Big 3' with bench players (Photo)

Check out the Miami Heat website recently? If you did, you’d probably notice a change to the header image which now features the likes of Ray Allen, Michael Beasley and Udonis Haslem. Yes, Lebron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade are no place to be found.

It’s not exactly a shocking move as James is a free agent, though both Bosh and Wade are still considered to be members of the Miami Heat so their lack of an inclusion is a little odd. Of course, I’d venture to guess the vast majority of photos that include both Bosh and Wade also include James though given the skills of the Heat’s graphic artists, I’m sure they could have come up with something.

Simply put, it just seems really odd to see the Miami Heat website without much mention of James, Bosh or Wade, let alone being replaced by what are essentially three bench players.

Of course, this might be the only time we can find amusement in it as James and the rest of the Miami Heat crew will likely be thrust atop the Miami Heat webpage as soon as they return (assuming they do), but for now, the Miami Heat’s newest ‘Big 3′ seems to incorporate Allen, Beasley and Haslem instead of James, Wade and Bosh.

Certainly been a rough few weeks in South Beach after the Finals loss and now the lack of James’ presence on the Heat website.

I’m guessing those two recent championship rings will help ease the pain, however.
