Kobe Bryant says LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony would be welcome to Lakers
By Jack Crosby
Despite that fact that he was sidelined with an injury for most of the season in 2013-14, it was no secret that Kobe Bryant was not happy with anything going on in the Los Angeles Lakers organization. He didn’t like the coach that was there in Mike D’Antoni, and quite frankly, he wasn’t too pleased with the talent around him.

With LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony both on the free agent market, there are a lot of people out there that believe either one, or both, of those guys can instantly fix everything by joining Kobe in Los Angeles. The only question is, would Bryant want another mega star along with him?
Well, he answered that question on Thursday morning when he posted this cryptic tweet that more or less translates into him giving his blessing to the Lakers to bring one of them in. Or, again, both.
Of course, there is a chance that both Anthony and James could wind up in Los Angeles, which could be an even more formidable “Big Three” than the one that has been in Miami with the Heat the past few seasons.
At this point in his career, and with him always being hungry for more rings, you would also have to think that Kobe would be more than willing to adjust his game, should either one or both of the free agent stars head out west to bring life back to the struggling Lakers organization.
