On Tuesday night, there was some unfortunate news for the Buffalo Bills organization and their fan base. Reports surfaced that Bills star linebacker Kiko Alonso suffered an injury that many believe could be significant.

More from Buffalo Bills

As more and more information surfaces about the injury, some league insiders seem to believe that the injury could keep Alonso out for the entire 2014-15 regular season.

In fact, one report indicates the Bills believe Alonso has suffered a torn ACL.

Ouch.

That is a devastating blow to the Bills on the field, but more importantly, it is a blow for the game of football.

Alonso is one of the most talented young linebackers in the game and a future star.

It is disappointing that he will not have this season to continue improving as a player.
