LeBron James Rumors: Miami Heat to meet with LeBron James this week
By Josh Hill
The Miami Heat are struggling right now to get anything done on the free agent market and it’s killing their chances of landing LeBron James back in South Beach next season. In fact, LeBron has grown so upset and so distant that he’s already starting to look at other teams and where he may fit best outside of Miami.

If the idea was to get the attention of the Heat then consider that attention grabbed as Miami is scrambling to meet with LeBron to try and sort out all the differences they are seemingly having as free agency prepares to enter its second week.
According to Sam Amick from USA Today, the Miami Heat will be meeting with LeBron James this week in a face-to-face meeting.
"LeBron James and his agent, Rich Paul, plan on meeting with Miami Heat president Pat Riley in person early this week, according to a person with knowledge of the situation. The person spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because of the private nature of the talks."
Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed and gave more details about what the meeting will entail and where it could end up leading.
This is encouraging news for Heat fans as the team is at least making a direct effort to try and weather this storm that LeBron has kicked up. He’s well within his rights though, as he’s not entitled to give Miami any extra time to figure things out when they’re dragging their feet so bad.
A meeting might calm things down as well, which is what Miami desperately needs in this moment of utter crisis.
