Cleveland Cavaliers Rumors: Kevin Love trade still an option

LeBron James is pondering what he wants to do this offseason and where he wants to sign but there’s one team who is going all out to try and get him back. They started as a joke but the Cavaliers have emerged as a real threat to get LeBron James back this summer and they’re planning out all possible outcomes.

According to Sam Amico from Fox Sports Ohio, the Cavaliers are looking at Kevin Love as a possible backup plan should they miss out on LeBron James this summer.

If James chooses to leave Miami and return to Cleveland, the Cavs still feel they can obtain Timberwolves star Kevin Love in a trade if need be, sources reiterated Sunday.

In addition to targeting Love, Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Cavaliers could also target free agents Trevor Ariza and Channing Frye with the extra cap space they clear in their attempts to lure LeBron back to Cleveland. It’s possible that the Cavs could land all three but the focus is on LeBron James.

There’s also the questions of if Love would sign long term with the Cavaliers, but after getting Andrew Wiggins No. 1 overall and locking down Kyrie Irving with a max contract, the Cavaliers are suddenly not the terrible joke of an option they were just a few months ago.

“There’s also the questions of if Love would sign long term with the Cavaliers, but after getting Andrew Wiggins No. 1 overall and locking down Kyrie Irving with a max contract, the Cavaliers are suddenly not the terrible joke of an option they were just a few months ago.” That makes it sound like you think there would be a chance of the cavs landing love WITHOUT trading Wiggins.. which is just silly.

There is! Dion Waiters, Anthony Bennett, and three 1st round draft picks in 2015 for Kevin Love. That would be 100 times better than any other offer they will get.

Um No… those 3 picks are not all guaranteed, and would not be lottery picks. You are obviously a Cavs fanboy and are delusional. Kevin Love with an extension is EASILY worth a rookie Andrew Wiggins.

You don’t seem to understand the concept of “up a creek without a paddle”

I won’t bother to explain this since anyone with a single functioning brain cell already gets it. Suffice to say, no one will ever, ever, ever(!) give the T’wolves any more than this for a guy who is not under contract. Best you will get otherwise is Thaddeus Young and a pick. You are extremely uninformed about the workings of the NBA and you now look like an utter and complete moron. Please avoid wasting your time and everyone else’s by never sharing your calamitously comedic clueless opinions again. thank you!
