Malzone committed to the Wolverines back in May and is the no. 10 rated pro-style quarterback prospect according to 247 Sports. Thus far at the competition, Malzone has been turning some heads, as JC Shurburtt from 247 recently pointed out that he looks about as focused as anyone that’s around him, and he’s showing off just how powerful that arm of his really is.
"Analyst Barton Simmons from the Elite 11 finals in Beaverton, Ore. Simmons added that Malzone “was as focused as anyone and he showed off some real juice in his arm as well.”"
Should Brady Hoke be able to get things on track at Michigan on the offensive side of the ball with his pro-style attack, then one day Malzone could be the perfect engineer to run the show in Ann Arbor, more than likely once Shane Morris has departed.
With that, you can have a look in the video below as Malzone goes through some of his workouts on Day 2 of the Elite 11 competition.
