The annual Elite 11 competition is currently taking place this week out in Beaverton, Oregon, showcasing some of the best high school quarterback talent that the nation has to offer. These young men will showcase their skills in front of some of the best coaches and scouts in the country, and one of them is Texas Tech Red Raiders commit Jarrett Stidham.

More from College Football

Stidham will be heading to play for head coach Kliff Kingsbury and the Red Raiders next year with a lot of hype surrounding him. He’s currently the no. 2 rated dual-threat quarterback in the 2015 class, and is more or less the crown jewel of the recruiting resurgence that Kingsbury is orchestrating in Lubbock.

This young man has all the tools necessary to take the Texas Tech offense to a whole new level, which if we judge from what we saw last year during Kingsbury’s first year at the helm, is a scary thought.

For this week, though, he’ll try to show that he is the overall best quarterback that the country has to offer by ultimately winning the entire competition, and he’s off to a tremendous start so far.

You can watch a clip of his workout from Day 2 of the camp in the video below.
