Things got a tad weird between the Mariners’ Robinson Cano and the Twins’ Kendrys Morales Monday night. Cano and Morales were just rapping at first base like ballplayers will do, when suddenly Cano for some reason was seized with the need to unbutton the top button of Morales’ jersey.

More from Minnesota Twins

I guess Robinson was just trying to give Morales some fashion help? Cano thinks the unbuttoned looked is the way to go this season. But note that Cano’s own top button is buttoned. If Cano is so in love with the unbuttoned top button look, how come his own top button isn’t unbuttoned?

I think he must be messing with Morales. He’s like, “No man, it’s a good look, I’m serious. Check it out.” And inside he’s laughing because he actually thinks it’s a stupid look.

If I’m Morales I’m telling Cano to stay the hell away from my button. It’s my button and I’ll keep it buttoned if I want. What a man does with his button is his own business. Cano is a little out-of-bounds here, if you ask me.
