CJ Spiller: EJ Manuel will ‘take us to where we want to go’
By Mike Dyce
The Buffalo Bills have taken a quarterback in the first round of the draft in 2013, and a superstar wide receiver in Sammy Watkins near the top of the draft in 2014 and are looking to take some big steps going forward. The real question is whether quarterback E.J. Manuel, heading into his second season, can be the man to lead the Bills to a resurgence.

Manuel didn’t get a full season as a rookie to show what he is capable of, battling injuries beginning in training camp and throughout the season. Running back C.J. Spiller is giving Manuel a vote of confidence.
“E.J. is the guy to take us to where we want to go and we understand that,” Spiller told SiriusXM NFL Radio on Saturday.
As far as Watkins goes, Spiller said “Can’t ever go wrong with the two most dynamic guys to ever come out of Clemson.”
Spiller added: “We may not have all the big names but we can be a scary offense. Looking forward to the team going out there and putting on a show.”
The Bills will need to get past divisional rivals the New England Patriots to win the division. Spiller thinks the Bills can beat the Patriots.
“We understand we have the talent to do it we just can’t make mistakes when we play them,” Spiller said.
