Aramis Ramirez thought he might have himself an RBI single up the middle here off the Nationals. But not so fast Aramis Ramirez. Here comes Anthony Rendon to rob you blind.

More from Milwaukee Brewers

NO RBI SINGLE FOR YOU ARAMIS RAMIREZ.

Anthony Rendon puts it all together on this play. The slide. Collects himself. Turns. Fires flat footed.

Okay, not the fleetest runner, but still. Have to give it up to Rendon there. He showed all the skills on that one. He flashed the leather. The arm. All of it.

Aramis Ramirez will have to hit it harder than that if he wants to get it past Anthony Rendon. Or just hit it to some other fielder. Or put it over the fence. Or don’t even bother coming to the ball park. Just give up on baseball. Just retire.

All right, don’t retire. But try to keep it away from Rendon unless you want your batting average to take a hit. That guy isn’t letting anything through. That guy is putting up the Great Wall of Rendon. Besiege it at your peril.
