We wrote yesterday about the early emergence of Sammy Watkins on an improving Buffalo Bills squad. He’s been lauded for his physical prowess as well as his mental acuity. Now we have some video proof of just how awesome this guy could be.

More from Buffalo Bills

Consider this link NSFW if your boss despises excited whooping because it’s hard to not let out a quick, “Oh!” when you see this one-handed catch in training camp posted to Instagram.

The biggest thing that pops out whenever you see Watkins in action is his pristine body control. His arms and legs can flail, twist, and stretch while his torso remains stable and nearly motionless. That’s what we get with this catch and that’s probably what we’re going to see plenty of in 2014. Even the stodgiest of Bills reporters have offered praise for the work Watkins has put in so far.

Follow Maiorana’s Twitter and you might find one positive Bills-related tweet ever, and it’s that one. When that guy says something positive about a Bills player, you know Watkins is the real deal.

Look for Watkins to see his first game action in Week 1 as the top receiver on the field. If that video is any indication, EJ Manuel could be looking Sammy’s way a whole lot this season.
