The 2014 Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony is taking place today in Canton, Ohio, and it will be an emotional great as seven new members join the elite class of football history.

More from Buffalo Bills

Before the seven-man class is inducted into the Hall of Fame, all of the current Hall of Fame players who are in attendance were introduced to the crowd.

That includes former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly, who is currently battling cancer.

When Kelly was introduced to the crowd full of Bills fans who are there for tomorrow’s Hall of Fame game to kick off the preseason, he received a standing ovation.

Kelly acknowledged the crowd and his peers on stage even stood to give him a round of applause.

The cheers kept coming for Kelly and he actually had to get back out of his chair to acknowledge the cheers yet again.

It was a truly special moment and goes to show how the entire NFL community has rallied behind Kelly since his diagnosis.

Kelly is still fighting, but he has an unrivaled support system and everyone is pulling for him to get back to 100 percent health.
