Comcast keeps customer on hold til close

Comcast has long been lauded as one of the worst companies in America when it comes to customer service.  Between outsourcing their support calls to the shady tactics that the employ when it comes to customers bills, the TV and Internet provider does not have a good reputation.  Just this week, they left a customer on hold until they closed.

YouTube user Aaron Spain shared his most recent experience with Comcast on his channel just two days ago.  Thus far, it already has over 20,00 views.

In his video, it is easy to see that the Internet and TV giant Comcast, just has no regard for his time whatsoever.

When the YouTuber places a second call on another phone and finds out his three hours on hold have been wasted due to the company being closed, he loses it.

Comcast has always been known or associated with a lesser level of customer service than acceptable, however, this summer they have come especially under fire.  BGR reported on a customer who simply was trying to cancel his service, and was harassed by the service rep from Comcast.

In another instance, a customer who was falsely charged nearly $100 and only was refunded his money because he recorded the call.

Unfortunately for consumers, the monopoly that is Comcast really limits what options you have for Internet and TV services.  However, with stories getting publicity and gaining traction, hopefully, at least for their sake, Comcast revisits the way in which they decide to conduct business.
