Steve Smith: Ravens will steal your lunch box
By Mike Dyce
The Baltimore Ravens have been known as a physical and tough team, mainly for their defensive unit and its dominance during the Ray Lewis and Ed Reed years. New wide receiver Steve Smith is looking to carry that tradition on, and he thinks it makes him a good match for the Ravens.

Smith used an interesting metaphor and pseudo-story to get the point across though.
“We take your lunchbox. We take your sandwich. We take your juice box. We take your applesauce. And we take your spork and we break it. We leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way, that’s the bully way, and that’s football,” Smith told CSN Baltimore.
Of course, the buzzword here is “bully” and how he almost glamorizes bullying. That will likely rub some people the wrong way, but that isn’t necessarily what he is trying to get across. Football is a game where the battle in the trenches can determine the outcome of the game, an area were imposing your will on your opponent is necessary.
Still, you have to love Smith for consistently being entertaining and his actions on the football field over the years have certainly backed up his talk.
