Title Town USA has one more title to add: NFL’s best fans. According to Forbes Magazine, the Green Bay Packers have the best fans in the NFL. 84% of the population in Green Bay with watched, attended, or listened to the games last year.

More from Baltimore Ravens

That is enough to earn them the top spot on the list. Forbes used five categories when ranking the fan bases of the teams. They are hometown crowd, TV audience, stadium attendance, social media, and merchandise

Here is the rest of the top ten. Believe it or not, non-Packer fans matter too!

  1. Green Bay Packers
  2. Denver Broncos
  3. New Orleans Saints
  4. New England Patriots
  5. Baltimore Ravens
  6. Indianapolis Colts
  7. Dallas Cowboys
  8. Pittsburgh Steelers
  9. Seattle Seahawks
  10. Chicago Bears

The wealthiest team in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys, come in seventh place on the fans list after they topped it last year. Their number 13 rank in TV audience and 15 rank in hometown crowd took them down a few notches.

Both of the teams that participated in February’s Super Bowl are on this list.

The Packers ranked first in hometown crowd rank, stadium attendance, and social media, despite being the smallest market on the list.

The Broncos tied for the top slot in stadium attendance, and were number two in merchandise rank thanks almost exclusively to Peyton Manning jerseys.

The Saints had the best TV audience rank, and tied for the top slot in stadium attendance as well.  They were second in hometown crowd and social media ranks.  Their tenth place finish in merchandise drug them down to the number three slot.

The Patriots tied for the top slot in stadium attendance, but everything else was fourth or lower.

In fact, the only team in the top ten that did not have a perfect attendance rating was the Steelers.

If your team did not make the list, better luck next year! It’s up to you and your friends to become better fans!
