The worst Comcast story yet

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse in regards to Comcast and its terrible customer service, another story comes out that trumps anything that happened previously.

More from Technology

YouTube user Douglas A. Dixon recent called into Comcast when he simply wanted an answer for why is internet speeds were only reaching a max of 50Mbps even after he received word from the company that it had increased his speed to 105Mbps.

What happened next was nothing short of ridiculous.

In an period of an hour-and-a-half, Dixon was transferred through six different customer service representatives, who all gave him different, contradicting responses to his request.

One rep told him that he couldn’t fix it, but he was supposed to receive the increased speeds. However, a different rep then told him that he has misunderstood the letter, and that he would have to pay more for the increased speeds. Another one even went as far as accusing Dixon of threatening her upon Dixon revealing that the call was being recorded, while one lied to him and said the problem was fixed.

Dixon posted the entire event on Reddit as well as on YouTube, which you can listen to below.

This entire escapade took up 90 minutes of Dixon’s life, and we was still left wondering what the heck was going on. Just remember, this is the company that will be, likely, merging with Time Warner Cable at some point later this year.
