Apple reportedly has an event scheduled for September 9th, and at this point, it appears that will be to introduce the newest iPhone model.  However, a new device could also be a star of the show.  The iWatch could make its long anticipated debut during the event.

Recode is claiming the Apple will unveil and iWatch wearable alongside the two new versions of the iPhone.

At this point, the rumor seems to be a little difficult to trust.  The iPhone 6 is slated to release and we have seem so many leaked images its unbelievable.  If there was to be an iWatch wearable device appearing at the same event, it would be hard to believe that no images have made their way into the media.

With no images as to the looks of the device, it is still up in the air with regards to how things will be received.  That being said, any Apple wearable is supposedly going to integrate with the new Apple HealthKit and HomeKit.

Apple has yet to release any sort of official confirmation that any sort of wearable is in the works, but CEO Tim Cook has noted that the company is set to break into new categories.

September 9 isn’t far away, so we should have answers soon.
