One name that Chiefs fans and general NFL fans may be surprised to hear as being cut is veteran kicker Ryan Succop. All seemed to be going well for Succop and the Chiefs but their tenure together has come to an end with the final roster cuts of the 2014 offseason.

The cut comes as a bit of a surprise as Succop has been one of the more well known kickers in the NFL over the course of his career. He also bares the title of being te most successful Mr. Irrelevant in recent memory as he was drafted with the last pick in the 2009 NFL Draft but has put together a successful career.
he had a five-year, $14 million contract loaded with incentives which is likely a main reason he was cut loose from the cash strapped Chiefs.
