The Cleveland Browns are hoping that their game against the New Orleans Saints will end more pleasantly than their Week 1 matchup did but that’s a tall order to consider. The Browns barely hung in there with the Steelers and are facing a Saints team hungry for their first win of the season.

Cleveland isn’t budging on Brian Hoyer’s security as starter but once again Johnny Manziel is being teased as possibly getting involved in the offensive attack on Sunday. According to Mary Kay Cabot from the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, the Browns aren’t ruling out using Johnny Manziel against the Saints.

A Manziel package was teased before the Steelers game as well, but that never ended up happening. A strategy the Browns might go with all season long is to tease Manziel but not always use him so that defensive coordinators have to gameplan for two quarterbacks.
Should that be the case though, it didn’t work out all that well in Week 1, so maybe the phantom Manziel package isn’t such a smokescreen after all.
