Fans always want to know more about the athletes they watch and cheer for, but Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. may have crossed the line of Too Much Information Wednesday night.

Smith changed his name to Steve Smith Sr. because, well, he has a kid named Steve Smith Jr. So, have you even wondered how that child came to be conceived?

What? You haven’t? Too bad, Smith’s story slides its way into your timeline like…

The most interesting part about this story is that, since then, Smith and his wife have not ridden in an elevator on the way to a hotel room together. Or he mistyped his story due to the shear excitement of sharing this information with all the world.

With everything going on with NFL players and elevators recently, Elisha Oats is probably rolling over in his grave. However, let’s just hope TMZ doesn’t find the video of this.

A few more jokes I couldn’t figure out how to weave into this post:

“They don’t call it hump day for nuthin’.”

“Love in an elevataaaaaa, lovin’ it up till it’s going downnnnnnn”

“Now we know the whole story of Steve Smith adding “Sr.” to his name.”

“Love in an elevataaaaaa, lovin’ it up the ball don’t hit the ground.”
