Marshawn Lynch tackled by hair, picks up piece of it (GIF)

Seattle Seahawks’ running back Marshawn Lynch takes a beating each game in which he plays. Lynch’s physical style of running exposes him to a lot of violent contact, making it all the more impressive that he is able to hold up over the course of a long NFL season while carrying the load for the Seahawks.

It speaks to Lynch’s strength and conditioning that he gets beat up over the course of the season and remains in the Seattle backfield week after week. He deserves praise in that regard, but on Sunday he saw different evidence of his physical style of play.

Having carved up the Denver Broncos running the ball and receiving the ball over the course of Sunday’s week 3 game, Lynch forced the Broncos to resort to tackling him by his hair on this play.

That cannot have felt good, and Lynch even found a piece of hair on the field and picked it up.

One imagines that Beast mode played with even more fire after losing his hair, which is not exactly good news for the Broncos’ defense.
