South Park takes on Washington Redskins, Dan Snyder (Video)

The Washington Redskins controversy is enjoying some time out of the NFL spotlight thanks to the domestic violence epidemic involving players like Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice, as well as the child abuse incident with Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.

The Redskins are about to find themselves back in that spot light though thanks to the animated show South Park. The Comedy Central staple is no stranger to controversy and taking on some of the most controversial and divisive issues of the day, and they have the Redskins and owner Dan Snyder in their cross hairs.

In a preview for the upcoming season, that aired during the fourth quarter of the Redskins’ game against the Philadelphia Eagles, they show Dan Snyder arguing with Cartman about using the name the “The Washington Redskins” for his own company. Cartman points out that he can since the trademark was rescinded and Snyder, in classic South park style, hypocritically calls it offensive.
