Darnell Dockett offers brawling Arizona Cardinals fan free tickets
By Bryan Rose
It’s safe to say Arizona Cardinals defensive end Darnell Docket marches to the beat of his own drum. A talented defender, Dockett is quite active on social media though has been known to put his foot in his mouth on more than one occasion.

He might have done so again today after he offered free tickets to the Arizona Cardinals fan who was caught on camera fighting with a San Francisco 49ers fan Sunday afternoon.
Ironically enough, the Arizona Cardinals fan in the video was actually wearing a Darnell Dockett jersey which prompted the free ticket offer from the defensive end on Twitter.
It’s difficult to tell if Dockett was simply being playful or actually was serious, though he does seem intent on giving away tickets to the fan who engaged in the brawl. Of course, suggesting you like fan violence and are willing to reward such with free tickets is probably a rather poor decision and choice of words given everything the NFL is going through currently. The thought probably never even crossed Dockett’s mind, though, I’m sure the Arizona Cardinals will be none too thrilled with the suggestion. You have to wonder how much longer until social media is completely banned for athletes.
Update: Dockett says he was offering the man helping the security guard free tickets.
