Teddy Bridgewater’s status for Thursday remains unclear
By Josh Sanchez
Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is probably wishing that he had a little more time to prepare for the team’s Week 5 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

Bridgewater suffered an ankle injury at the end of the Vikings’ blowout win over the Atlanta Falcons, but the quick turnaround for Thursday Night Football against the NFC North rival Packers has Bridgewater’s status up in the air.
If Bridgewater were to have a full week to rest up and prepare, there is a good chance he could take the field.
However, having to rush things to get ready for the quick turnaround could lead to further injury, so the Vikings have to be extra careful with their new starting quarterback.
We could get a better idea of how Bridgewater is doing today, because he “may” get some reps in practice.
If Bridgewater ends up being unable to go on Thursday night, the Vikings will be forced to start Christian Ponder.
And, well, yikes.
