Four weeks of the 2014 NFL season are in the books and things continue to heat up. From the escalating scandals to the shocking scorelines, Week 4 was no different than the rest of the craziest NFL September in my lifetime.

The league continues to shoot itself in the foot with bad news breaking almost constantly. Meanwhile, teams we thought were rock solid coming into the season (Saints, 49ers, Bears, Patriots) have fallen flat, while under-the-radar squads have emerged to surprise us (Cardinals, Bengals, Lions).

This week’s action starts Thursday night at Lambeau Field, and features some fantastic matchups through Monday night. Here are the top five NFL storylines to keep an eye on as we head into Week 5.
