The Dallas Cowboys got a big win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football, and quarterback Tony Romo looked like a different player. He was confident throwing the ball off his back foot and looked like he felt comfortable and as if he had regained all his strength coming off back surgery for the second offseason in a row.

“There is no question the difference between the last game and San Francisco is night and day,’’ Romo said, via the Dallas Morning News. “But it’s just an on-going, fluid thing where you’re going to continue to get better and work at it and just keep strengthening the areas you have to improve.’’

Romo was a solid 22-of-29 passing, throwing for 262 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. In the opener against the San Francisco 49ers that stat line looked like quite the opposite. Despite throwing for 281 yards in that game, Romo had three first half interceptions that put the Cowboys in a hole they couldn’t dig themselves out of, but did have one touchdown pass in the game.

The Cowboys take on the Houston Texans who are having a surprising run this season and Romo will have to avoid defensive lineman J.J. Watt.
