Although LeBron James is a native of Akron, Ohio, the Cleveland Cavaliers forward is a well documented Dallas Cowboys fan.

Of course the Cowboys aren’t the only NFL team James supports as he’s also a fan of the Cleveland Browns, though apparently not as big a fan.
Both the Dallas Cowboys (who currently sit tied with the NFL’s best record) and the Cleveland Browns had massive wins on Sunday afternoon though James decided to support his Dallas Cowboys instead of his native Cleveland Browns.
James posted the following photo to his Instagram account:
Much has been made about LeBron James’ fandom and his affiliations considering they don’t really jive with what many would assume. Given his ties to the Cleveland area, you’d believe he was an Indians and Browns fan but James has routinely stated he’s been a supporter of the Cowboys and the New York Yankees.
So what about the Cleveland Cavaliers? Was James a fan of his local basketball team before getting drafted? Nope. LeBron has previously stated he rooted for the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls (aren’t you shocked?) which seem to go hand-in-hand with his way of picking teams.
During LeBron James’ youth, the Yankees, Lakers, Bulls and Cowboys were all among the elite in their sport. Though, LeBron James does deserve some credit for not hopping off the bandwagon when things get back. He may pick some odd teams to root for but he doesn’t appear to bail when times get tough.
Maybe next time though, a Cowboys shirt and a Browns hat, King James? The Cleveland Browns need a little love too.
