Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s new statue in his home town has him, um, excited.

Real Madrid superstar and Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo had a new statue unveiled in his childhood home town. He has also opened a museum about himself, so a statue seems to make perfect sense as well.

I mean why the hell not have a statue of yourself if you’re going to have a whole friggin’ museum. Here is a picture of Ronaldo being interviewed by the museum so you can try and get a grasp of the likeness and size of it.

Ok, we’ll bite and look at it. Oh dear…

It looks like Cristiano Ronaldo might be a little, um, excited in this statue. That or he is wearing an oversized cup. Do you think Ronaldo was talking to the sculptor and was like, “listen dude, if there is one thing you get right, I want it to be this body part.”

Needless to say, I imagine we’ll be seeing some interesting social media pictures of that statue in the future.
