NASCAR driver Kurt Busch had an interesting testimony on Tuesday, claiming his ex-girlfriend, Patricia Driscoll, is a trained assassin.
When you are accused of smashing your ex-girlfriend’s head into a wall multiple times and getting a restraining order placed against you, you will need to put together your defense to show whether you were innocent or guilty.

For NASCAR’s Kurt Busch, who was described as “unstable and struggling with alcoholism and depression,”his testimony included a very bizarre bombshell.
According to the Associated Press, Busch testified that his ex-girlfriend, Patricia Driscoll, is a trained assassin.
The story is so wild that it includes Driscoll coming home in a blood covered gown, showing photos of bodies with gunshot wounds and talk about assassinating drug lords in South America. Yeah, it is insane.
From the repot:
"Busch said Driscoll repeatedly asserted her assassin status and claimed the work took her on missions across Central and South America and Africa. He recounted a time they were in El Paso, Texas, when Driscoll left in camouflage gear only to return later wearing a trench coat over an evening gown covered with blood.Busch said that, a day earlier, Driscoll told him she was a mercenary who killed people for a living and had shown him pictures of bodies with gunshot wounds.Busch said Driscoll had claimed that a female character in “Zero Dark Thirty,” a film depicting the CIA’s hunt for Osama bin Laden, was a composite of her and other women."
It is all very wild and hard to believe.
But if you doubt Busch’s defense, don’t worry, his friends have told him he was crazy, too. But, that doesn’t mean he is giving up on his belief on whether he has a super trained assassin ex.
From The News Journal:
"Driscoll’s alleged background as a trained assassin who had experience killing drug lords via long-range sniper rifles and close combat tactics – including the use of knives and poison – became a major talking point during the latter stages of the hearing. On both Monday and Tuesday, Busch said he still believes Driscoll is a trained assassin, despite some of his doubts and questioning by friends.“Everyone on the outside can tell me I’m crazy, but I lived it on the inside…,” Busch testified. “Sorry I’m the last one to the party.”"
The entire story is something that is hard to wrap your head around, but Driscoll summed it all up best.
“Not even Rusty Hardin (Busch’s lawyer) believes this,” Driscoll told the paper.
While the possibility of a NASCAR driver dating a trained assassin is certainly fascinating, it shouldn’t distract anyone from what the trial is about. Kurt Busch either smashed his ex-girlfriend’s head into a wall repeatedly or he didn’t.
Her job wouldn’t change that.
