Jim Harbaugh hasn’t been in Ann Arbor for more than two months and he’s already owning his boss status and making everyone who called for him to be hired look like geniuses.

When the San Francisco 49ers let Jim Harbaugh go — essentially firing him without actually being that violent about it in the press — the Michigan Wolverines hopped all over him in half a minute. The 49ers logo patch hadn’t even hit the ground yet from being ripped off Harbaugh’s hat and he was already the coach at Michigan and so far that’s been a brilliant move.

Harbaugh hasn’t coached a single game, hasn’t conducted a single practice but already he’s leaps and bounds ahead of his predecessor Brady Hoke. The Michigan faithful have completely bought into Harbaugh and this new era, and he can do no wrong — at all.

That honeymoon will eventually end, but for now things are so good that Harbaugh can casually quote Rick Ross and make it the most awesome thing you’ll hear all day.

For his thought of the day today, Rick Ross was used to let the world know that Jim Harbaugh doesn’t care about the haters out there.

This is exactly what Michigan signed up for when they hired Jim Harbaugh last month and it’s something that they have to be pleased about. Culture shock doesn’t exist when Harbaugh is involved, as he just forces everyone to believe that things will be alright.

You don’t get any further away from Brady Hoke than Jim Harbaugh, and this is just the latest example that this season is going to be really fun watching Michigan and Jim Harbaugh do their thing.
