The son of late rapper Nate Dogg has been dismissed from his role with the Washington Huskies football team.

After a recent incident that required discipline, the University of Washington has dismissed Naijel Hale, the son of rapper Nate Dogg.

According to the Seattle Times, which relayed a message from Hale’s social media accounts, the University of Washington has dismissed the four-star recruit for disciplinary matters.

"“I would like to announce that I will be taking my football career elsewhere and thank the university of Washington for everything they’ve taught me,” Hale wrote. “I Thank you coach Lake and Coach Peterson (sic) for being there for me and understanding everything that I go through. Nobody in this world will understand my life yet I’m still moving forward. I’m so thankful to play and start many games as a True Freshmen in the PAC-12 and those memories will stick with me forever. New chapter ahead…. Ride with me.”"

It’s unclear where Hale will take his talents — because he indeed plenty of it. He’s a four-star recruit who was going to originally attend Arizona before moving to Washington, and he’s going to try and find a new landing place to advance his career. He may not have an NFL future, but it can’t be ruled out just because of a bump in the world.

We’ve seen player bounce back from being dismissed from their schools, most notably — and recently — Tyrann Mathieu who was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2013 and has turned his life around in a big way.

That’s what the hope is for Hale, who is going to try and right his career path by landing at a school where his talents can be put on display and he can stay on the straight path.
