Florida Senator Marco Rubio trolls the Florida State Seminoles
By Jack Crosby
Anyone who graduates from the University of Florida will troll Florida State University and that includes Marco Rubio
Florida Senator Marco Rubio has a lot on his plate right now, what with running for President of the United States and all. However, that doesn’t mean that he still can’t take the time out to get in some good old fashioned college trolling.
Rubio was making an appearance on Iowa radio station KXNO 1460 AM Monday, and at one point during the talk, Rubio took his jab at the Seminoles of Florida State University.
"“Look, I don’t have anything against Florida State. I think there has to be a school where people who can’t get into Florida can go to college.”"
Now, for those that might be unaware, Rubio graduated from the University of Florida, and it pretty much goes without saying that the two sides have no love lost for one another. So, it makes perfect sense for Rubio to make sure that he gets his shots in at the Seminoles when he can take it.
Although, you have to wonder whether or not this was the greatest idea in the world. Those folks in Tallahassee take their football seriously with their ‘Noles, so he may have just lost a few votes with this little quip.
Should also be noted that in addition to receiving his Bachelor’s from the University of Florida, he also received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami. So, yeah, the hate pretty much shines through without the comments when you take a peek at the schooling alone.
