Florida State running back Dalvin Cook ripped off an incredible 94-yard touchdown run

The Florida State Seminoles started their second drive of the game against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons deep in their own territory, at their six-yard line specifically. It didn’t take much for them to get out of that position and into the endzone, though, In fact, all it took was one handoff to star running back Dalvin Cook.

It was just a simple handoff to Cook that had him looking for room on the left edge of his line, but he was met by a few Wake Forest defenders. That didn’t bother Cook one bit, who broke through three tackles and turned on the jets for a massive 94-yard trip to the endzone:

I guess that week off didn’t make Cook any worse at playing football. Judging by that rush, it may have actually made him even better. Cook is the heart of the Florida State offense and, when he’s doing things like this, looks like one of the best back in the country. If he can stay healthy and continue to rise to the occasion on instances like this, the Seminoles will be in the hunt atop the ACC for yet another year.
