Baltimore Ravens’ 2016 NFL schedule released

The Baltimore Ravens weekly schedule for the 2016 NFL season has been released.

Coming off a rough season in 2015, the Baltimore Ravens will look to return to the playoffs. The playoffs have become a normal thing for Baltimore’s football team, as they have missed the playoffs just twice since Baltimore drafted quarterback Joe Flacco and hired head coach John Harbaugh back in 2008.

After injuries plagued them last season, Baltimore has upgraded their roster by adding wide receiver Mike Wallace, safety Eric Weddle, and tight end Ben Watson. They will be welcoming back wide receivers Breshad Perriman and Steven Smith as well as linebacker Terrell Suggs, all of whom were injured for most of or all of last season.

The Ravens will face a relatively easy path back to the playoffs compared to other teams as they have one of the easier schedules in the NFL. Their strength of schedule (0.484) is the 14th lowest in the NFL. They will play the Bengals, Browns, Steelers, Bills, Dolphins, Redskins, Eagles, and Raiders at home. On the road, they will face the Bengals, Browns, Steelers, Patriots, Jets, Cowboys, Giants, and Jaguars.

"The 2016 schedule is here. Are you ready?"

Of the 16 games that they will play during the 2016 season, just six of them will be against teams that made the playoffs in 2015 (the Bengals twice, the Steelers twice, the Patriots, and the Redskins). Baltimore is facing the NFC East and the AFC East, two of the weaker divisions in the NFL even with the Patriots. That should set them up for a potential postseason run if they can stay healthy.
