Cincinnati Bengals’ 2016 NFL schedule released
The Cincinnati Bengals schedule for the 2016 NFL season has officially been released.
In 2015, the Cincinnati Bengals won the AFC North. Despite a demoralizing loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card round, Cincinnati will enter the 2016 NFL season as the team to beat in the AFC North. Cincinnati has made the playoffs in each of the last five seasons and in six of their last seven. They’ll look to keep that playoff streak alive in 2016 while trying to advance past the first round of the playoffs.
Cincinnati will be led by quarterback Andy Dalton. Dalton is a talented quarterback who has plenty of weapons around him who he knows how to utilize. Wide receiver A.J. Green (1,297 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns) is by far his favorite. Green is complemented by tight end Tyler Eifert (52 receptions for 615 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns). Their defense will be led by cornerback Adam Jones, linebacker Vontaze Burfict, and defensive lineman Geno Atkins.
The odds definitely favor the Bengals to make the playoffs since their strength of schedule rating of 0.465 is ranked the fourth easiest in the NFL. They will play the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, and Denver Broncos at home. On the road, they will face the Steelers, Ravens, Browns, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and Houston Texans. They will face five games against playoff teams (two against Pittsburgh, one against Houston, one against New England, and one against Denver) in 2016.
