Running onto a playing field is never a good idea, no matter the sport.
I’m guessing these two Denver Broncos fans didn’t get the message, though, probably felt the harshness of the penalty (which usually consists of heavy fines and a night or two in the county jail) would be reduced by running onto the field during a simple scrimmage instead of an actual game.
Think again.
Even worse? While the first fan who bolts onto the field gets away (at least for a while) cleanly in the video, the second doesn’t, as he’s left in the dust by his friend.
Just moments after the first fan, rocking a John Elway jersey, hops over the fence and makes his way onto the field, a second fan attempts to do the same and literally jumps right into the arms of security officials. He looks like he just got caught by his parents in an unflattering, precarious position.
Quite literally the worst possible attempt to run on the field, ever.
