Preseason NFL football is fun for a few reasons. I mean, first off, itās football. Weāve waited six months for it to return so weāre like a seven year old on Christmas Eve, just waiting for the pigskin to start flying. Secondly, while preseason football is generally relatively sloppy, itās also full of guys playing for roster spots. Sure, they make boneheaded plays but theyāre also playing for a job and the heart and passion are clearly on display. So are jaw dropping hits, like the one Jonathan Bostic of the Chicago Bears laid on San Diego Chargers wide receiver Mike Willie last night.
Care to take a gander?

Pretty sure Mr. Willie is nursing a sore neck this morning.
The last thing the San Diego Chargers needed was another injury to their wide receivers as theyāve already lost top wideout Danario Alexander for the season to an ACL injury and nearly had the same fate bestowed upon them with other top receiver Malcom Floyd, though thankfully his near devastating injury was nothing more than a knee sprain.
San Diego most certainly didnāt need to add Willie to the injury report with a decapitated head.
