In a contract year, Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley is determined to prove the doubters wrong.
Finley has never lacked talent or size, but rather the mental fortitude to take the next step into stardom.
Reports out of Packers training camp have been nothing but positive from the coaching staff and now Finley says he has developed ‘good’ chemistry with starting quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
Per the Milwaukee Journal Sentential:
"“It’s about the chemistry with me and 12,” Finley said. “We’ve been doing that off the field, too. It’s starting off pretty good here.”Through their three-drive cameo against the Rams, Rodgers looked for Finley again and again in what may have been a snapshot preview of what’s to come when the games count. The sixth-year tight end finished with four receptions for 78 yards on five Rodgers targets."
Finley last year of course struggled mightily, hinting that his chemistry with Rodgers was all but non-existent. Hopefully for all parties, things work out better this go around.
