
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have joined the ranks of NFL teams making roster cuts today following the third week of preseason action. Teams need to cut their training camp rosters down to 53 men.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released the following players:
- Derek Hagan, wide receiver
- Carlton Mitchell, wide receiver
- Ernest Owusu, defensive end
- Markus White, defensive end
- Spencer Larsen, fullback
- Troy Nolan, safety

It is another list of players released by an NFL team with no real standouts amongst them. The most noticeable might have been wide receiver Derek Hagan. He couldn’t overtake Tiquan Underwood and former Dallas Cowboys receiver Kevin Ogletree.
The Bucs did sign undrafted free agent tight end Mike Shanahan. He was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent back in April but was released on August 22nd.

- Philadelphia Eagles released 11 players
- Buffalo Bills release 5 players
- Tennessee Titans release 7 players
- New England Patriots release 5 players
- Seattle Seahawks release 8 players
