Well folks – the time has come. In just under an hour, the NFL season (sans Opening Night) will kick off and the next five months are going to be football heaven.

Thankfully, with over a week to recover since the preseason concluded, injuries are at a relative minimum so many star players will be on the field.

Make sure you check your fantasy football lineup so you don’t get stuck with an inactive player on your roster – nothing more aggravating than that.

Below are the inactive players for the Minnesota Vikings – Detroit Lions game, which is scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

Minnesota Vikings:

SS Mistral Raymond, QB Mcleod Bethel-Thompson, LB Gerald Hodges, LB Michael Mauti, OG Jeff Baca, DE George Johnson and DT Kevin Williams

Detroit Lions:

RB Mikel Leshoure, WR Ryan Broyles, QB Kellen Moore, CB Jonte Green, OG Leroy Harris, OT LaAdrian Waddle, and DE Devin Taylor

This is one of the few games with some big names missing as Kevin Williams out should help the Lions’ rush game. In addition, the loss of Broyles will impact some fantasy football teams.
